Report: Research on Cases and Pathways of Sustainable Information Disclosure by Small and Medium-sized Banks

Against the backdrop of the in-depth advancement of the "dual-carbon" goals and the continuous improvement of the sustainable finance regulatory system, high-quality sustainable information disclosure has become an important means for financial institutions to demonstrate development resilience, attract green investment, and win market trust. As an important part of China's financial system, small and medium-sized banks deeply serve regional economies and small and micro enterprises, and their sustainable development practices have attracted much attention. However, due to the limitations of resource endowment and actual capabilities, small and medium-sized banks face a series of practical challenges in dealing with disclosure requirements. To this end, the Shanghai Jin Sinan Financial Research Institute and the Green Finance 60 Forum (GF60) have focused on this issue and conducted special research, recently releasing the "Research on Cases and Pathways of Sustainable Information Disclosure by Small and Medium-sized Banks" report. The research team, through systematic investigation and multi-dimensional analysis, deeply analyzes the current situation, common challenges, and advanced pathways of sustainable information disclosure by small and medium-sized banks in China, aiming to provide valuable references for policy optimization and industry practice.
